ideaForge is the leader in industrial and military UAV manufacturing in India with over 90% market share. The organization was established in 2007 by IIT-Bombay alumni and is based out of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. ideaForge co-designed India’s first Military UAV, Netra with the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) and is also responsible for engineering the then world’s lightest Autopilot.
ideaForge develops completely indigenous technology for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Our organization is the pioneer in the UAS segment in India and has multiple IPs to its credit including one for the World’s Smallest Autopilot. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manufacturing Intern will be primarily responsible for assisting with future production expansion.
· Work on cutting edge Manufacturing technologies to manufacture parts and prototypes
· Learn, implement, and scale up the use of core engineering principles to liaison with stakeholders during technical engineering interactions.
· Work on quality improvement techniques for conventional manufacturing processes like CNC machining, Injection Molding, and fabrication.
· Help stakeholders (re)design parts for manufacturing for easy scale up from prototyping to production.
· Work with potential automation vendors to get specifications and costing of machines that we want to install in the future
· Help with day-to-day activities and contribute directly to automate companywide dashboards
· Assist with the implementation and sustenance of 5-S in different plant locations
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· Pursuing Engineering in either Mechanical, Process or Manufacturing
· Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing and Plastic Moulding will be preferred
· Should be available for full time (in-office)
· Can start the internship between within 30 Days and are available for duration of 3-4 months
· Local to Mumbai area or should be open to relocation at own expense
· Have relevant MS Office skills and interests
